Funding in Action: Science on Wheels
The PTA is sponsoring the Pacific Science Center’s Science on Wheels program at Brier Elementary on March 20th! This incredible whole-day experience will focus on engineering and will feature an engaging assembly, interactive exhibits, and hands-on workshops that are sure to inspire our students.
PTA fundraising aims to make this enriching experience an annual event, as the Science on Wheels program offers a diverse range of learning opportunities year over year. With funds raised each year during our fundraiser, programs like this are possible!

Funding in Action: Visiting Authors
The PTA is thrilled to announce that local authors Ben Clanton and Andy Chou Messer will be joining us in February for Literacy Night! Throughout the day, they will engage with students through informative presentations, culminating in a presentation during Literacy Night that evening.
Ben Clanton is the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of the beloved Narwhal and Jelly series. Andy Chou Messer is the author-illustrator of A Home Under the Stars, his debut picture book, which received a starred review from Kirkus Reviews and a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. Together, they recently co-authored and illustrated, Papilio, with Corey R. Tarbor.
